Viscotec has presented the new micro-dosing control "Eco-Control EC200 2.0", which will be available on the market as early as March. In combination with the "Eco-PEN" and "Eco-DUO" dispensers, it ensures maximum precision and reliability in the dosing process.
Thomas Diringer, Business Unit Manager Components + Devices, reveals the details of the development of the new Preeflow dosing control: “The dosing control is primarily used to control and parameterize the associated dispenser. But the pressure monitoring of the dosing process is also done via the control. In the event of a displayed error, the operator can therefore intervene and act immediately. This guarantees a reliable process with precise dosing results. "
The performance of the old Eco-Control EC200 controller was good, but usability was improved. The service was partly in need of explanation and not quite as clear. "With the new device we want to take another step towards the 4.0 industry. In addition, the design was outdated and no longer corresponded to the modern zeitgeist. The deciding factor for the development of the new control system, however, was a completely different reason: Of course, due to the increasing automation and the associated integration of the control into fully automated systems, the demands on the dosing process are also growing. The old controls simply could not keep up and we initiated the development of a new control generation ", says Mr. Diringer.
Miniature stepper motor positioned in the tightest of spaces
The controller can be used in combination with all pre-flow dispensers and there is no need to differentiate. A so-called fast boat offers a quick start of the control. The device can be used as desktop, monitor or built-in version The large (7 "TFT) display with capacitive touch and graphical user interface (GUI) contributes to an intuitive user-friendliness. The UI view is configurable.
The dosing control is equipped with a modern aluminum housing. The control unit offers pressure and temperature monitoring options, 100 program memory locations and enables fast, clear program storage. Integration into large systems with PLC is possible.
