Industry 4.0 places the same demands on pressure sensors as other sensors: Higher intelligence with reduced dimensions. Presented with the AMS 6915 pressure sensors AMSYS an OEM series that meets these requirements.

The AMS 6915 miniaturized, digital OEM pressure and temperature sensors are ideal for the tightest of applications as the pressure cell and the entire transmitter are housed in a compact and robust DIL package (12,9 x 9,9 mm substrate area). The highly integrated electronics make it possible to carry out calibration, compensation and linearization during production, resulting in a low overall error (between ± 1 and ± 2% FSO, depending on the pressure range).

The AMS 6915 is available for all types of pressure: for absolute, relative and differential pressure measurement. Due to the wide pressure range for differential / relative pressure from 5 mbar to 1 bar, for bidirectional differential pressure from ± 2.5 mbar to ± 1 bar and for absolute pressure of 1 bar, these pressure sensors are highly versatile. To determine the air pressure, a barometric variant was adjusted to 700 to 1200 mbar. Via the integrated I2C interface, the measured pressure and temperature measured values are ready for further processing. With a supply voltage of 3.3 V (optional 5 V), the sensors are intended for connection to microcontrollers. The AMS 6915 can be operated in a temperature range from -25 ° to 85 ° C.
