KNF1119With the diaphragm liquid pump FP 400, KNF has for the first time succeeded in arranging five diaphragms horizontally on one level. The FP 400 thus achieves very low pulsation on the suction and pressure side. With this value, which was previously reserved for gear pump technology due to the design, the FP 400 has a real unique selling point.

The usual secondary measures to avoid pulsation are no longer necessary. Furthermore, the functional advantages associated with diaphragm pump technology come into play: self-priming, safe to run dry and maintenance-free. With a flow rate of up to 4,4 l/min and this uniquely smooth running, it qualifies for a wide range of possible applications in the medical field. This innovation is suitable for the task of circulating liquids - for example in devices for temperature management. This can be the cooling of medical lasers or X-ray machines, for example.

It is also required in vital support systems to stabilize patients' core body temperature. The low pulsation is accompanied by a pleasant, because quiet and low-vibration operating behavior of the pump.

Liquid pump with very smooth running

The exceptional smoothness in combination with a suction height of 3 mH2O allows easy handling of both viscous and very low-viscosity media. Aggressive media are also no problem, as the media-contacting pump components are designed to be chemically resistant - as materials EPDM, PTFE and FFKM are available.

The 5 membrane design reduces shear forces to a minimum. This extends the life of the pump and protects sensitive media. The FP 400 has IP65 protection. The maximum operating pressure is 10 mH2O.
