BMI Test + Measurement extends its Cansasflex series for new highly insulated Measuring modules and Junction boxes for safe measurements in HV environments, especially to Electric Cars and Hybrid vehicles. The new four-channel measuring module "Hiso-HV4" is suitable for measuring high differential voltages up to 800 V. This enables, for example, HV voltages along the electrical line Powertrain capture as on Battery, charging converters, aggregates and distributors.

Measuring module for HV applications from IMC

The measurement module supports users in analyzing charge and energy flows and optimizing efficiency. The connection is made via laboratory sockets. In addition, the Hiso8 measurement modules A new 4L device version has been added for high-voltage environments.

As a new connection variant, it offers four Lemo.2P collectorsplug for 2 channels each as an alternative to the small and economical, channel-specific Lemo.1P. Both versions of the measuring module allow the highly insulated measurement of up to eight PT100/PT1000 resistance thermometers. Thanks to their high-resolution measuring ranges from 60 V down to 50 mV, high-precision measurement of extra-low voltages at HV level is possible, e.g. B. of individual battery cells or current measurement shunts.

Thus, the current measurement required for power recording can also be covered with the Hiso8 module. Alternatively, insulating precision current transformers and current clamps can be used. You do not need a HV measuring amplifier and can be connected to all measuring amplifiers from the manufacturer. The streamsensors and a supply unit tailored to the converters are part of the offer.

Temperature measurement on high-voltage components

With those already launched on the market Hiso-T thermal modules Measuring modules are available for safe temperature measurement on HV components with thermocouples. All Hiso modules are fully compliant with all relevant safety standards and requirements according to DIN EN 61010-1/2. Safety in the critical high-voltage environment is therefore guaranteed at all times.

IMC offers a wide range of accessories for measuring in High voltage environments. In addition to HV-suitable, ready-made sensor cables, this also includes a new special HV connection box (HV box) with screw terminals. It serves as a flexible safety transfer interface between the measuring point and Measurement Technology. In this way, sensors and instrumentation under test that were previously not designed to be HV-safe can be connected to the box and thus transferred to a fully HV-specified connection technology.
