Under his leadership, KTR has completed a successful and sustainable development. Among other things, this was characterized by the restructuring of the company, the continuous expansion at the headquarters in Rheine, the expansion of the product portfolio and the development of the KTR locations in India and recently in China as a new production and logistics center for East and Southeast Asia.
Gerstner will remain associated with the company both as a member of the advisory board and in an advisory capacity. In addition, he will continue to perform his board duties in the future VDMA Main Board and in the VDMA NRW as well as in the Münsterland Metal Industry Association. On June 1st, 2016, Andreas Nauen will be the new managing director of the KTR Group.

After studying mechanical engineering, Nauen started his career in 1991 in the power plant sector Siemens AG, where he initially worked in project management in the field of gas and steam turbines. He then took over sales tasks for fossil power plants in India, and from 1997 for the European market. From 2002 to 2004 he was responsible for strategy and communication in the Power Generation division.
