wolpert0414Wolpert Holding from Bretzfeld has taken over the insolvent Swabian traditional company Carl Wüst GmbH & Co. KG. With the takeover, the Unterländer group of companies in the field of model and mold making, which has been aspiring for years, has acquired great manufacturing expertise for ready-to-install stamped and formed parts for the automotive industry. The company wants to grow again under the new name Carl Wüst Connect GmbH. Investments in new technologies and capacities have been decided. Most of the employees could be retained.

The Wolpert Group has integrated Carl Wüst into the group as the seventh member. The stamping company, which once invented precision stamping, got into difficulties in the wake of the economic crisis and had to file for bankruptcy in 2013 despite full order books. With a growth and investment program at the Remshalden location, Wolpert has now set the course for the future again. Wolpert's growth target now envisages doubling sales from just over EUR 10 million by 2020.

The metalworking company founded by Carl Wüst in Fellbach in 1895 has been producing quality for almost 120 years and manufacturing punched flanges for industry. What once started as a simple stamping shop has developed into a highly specialized automotive supplier certified according to TS 16949. The high-quality stamped flanges are used to screw on gasoline lines, connect exhaust pipes or exhaust manifolds to the catalytic converters or hold leaf springs of heavy trucks together. The company developed and produced a very special exhaust flange for the SLS super sports car from Mercedes-Benz AMG. But the products can also be found in Golf, Maybach or Actros.
