Dunkermotoren expanded its portfolio with an interesting, coordinated solution, consisting of a controller for high currents and a brushless DC motor for use in battery powered applications (12 / 24 V) or low voltages. The 1 quadrant controller is matched exactly to the brushless 3 BG-phase motors of the manufacturer with an output power up 500 W. A permissible continuous output current of 60 A and short-term peak currents of up to 100 A (2 s) can be realized with a supply voltage of 8 30-V.
The parameter sets controller lock, counterclockwise, clockwise, two fixed speeds and speed mode can be selected via a DIP switch, or via digital inputs. In addition, the speed can be set via an analog input either 0 10-V, 0-20 mA or PWM. Via a USB interface, these sets of parameters can be configured. A speed potentiometer scales the analog input between 0-100% and sets a defined speed or power. Via digital outputs, different engine and system information to lead out. A rugged and durable case allows the application in harsh environments.
