As an entry into the world of trochoidal and high-speed milling, HAM offers the solid carbide (VHM) milling cutter of type 40-1491. This creates a very good surface quality and enables high cutting performance. The four-edged cutter with 45-degree corner bevel has a special geometry with equal pitch and unequal pitch. This allows a low-vibration, low-deflection running. The tool scores in the processing of various types of steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron and titanium. Among other things, it achieves high profile accuracy in circumferential and contour milling.
Process damaging chips and nests do not occur during machining with this tool. This is ensured by newly developed chip spaces, which enable a smooth chip flow. The cutter is available in diameters from 3 to 20 mm.
