Vacuum surface gripper for every material

A safe vacuum for every workpiece, regardless of size, surface structure and porosity: the Fipa area grippers, designed in six different basic formats from 70 x 70 to 160 x 600 mm, offer consistently strong holding power for automated handling of a wide variety of materials. "In the event that our six standard formats do not cover the special requirements of the customer, we quickly implement customer-specific solutions," says Managing Director Rainer Mehrer.
The required vacuum is generated by integrated, highly efficient ejectors or by an external vacuum supply. The intelligent valve technology used in the surface grippers has a high leakage tolerance. Thus, more air can be sucked between gripper and workpiece during vacuum generation and thus a higher porosity of the handling material and the absorbent mat can be tolerated. Furthermore, unoccupied suction openings remain closed. This reduces compressed air consumption and thus energy costs.
The valve technology is soiled. A long service life and high reliability are also characteristic of the suction mats, which are adapted to the valve technology and the handling material. These are extremely resistant to wear and aging. A special fastening technology guarantees a quick and non-destructive replacement if required. In addition, they can also be fitted into existing gripper systems from other providers.
