Turck is expanding its pick-to-light portfolio with the K50-Flat illuminated pushbutton from its opto partner Banner Engineering. Due to its low height of 69 mm, the robust IP17K button is suitable for installation in confined spaces. Light touches without pressure with fingers or palm are sufficient to trigger.
The button responds to skin as well as to touch with a glove. The functions of the K50-Flat resemble the K50 dome lights. It is used as a touch button, a request button or in pick-to-light applications.
The K50-Flat is available with one to three colors. It is also clearly visible in bright environments. The probe is designed in accordance with IP67 / IP69K and is immune to faulty tripping due to dirt, water droplets, oil or cleaning agents as well as electrical interference. By dispensing with moving parts, the illuminated push-button is extremely robust and durable. Its ergonomic design also protects users from hand, wrist and arm tension associated with repeated shifts.
