Three stage Enabling footswitch with safety-oriented radio technology

On the basis of the safety-oriented radio protocol "Swave-safe", Steute has developed a three-stage radio foot switch. This switch with the designation RF GFS 2 D (VD) SW2.4-safe is a 3-stage wireless safety foot switch off-on-off. The design is designed for ergonomic, fatigue-free operation and a long service life even under harsh environmental conditions.
The pedals can be equipped with and without pressure point and are available both with and without lock button. The footswitch targets applications such as the use of press brakes and other forming equipment. If the operator presses the foot pedal in the middle position, z. B. triggered a press stroke. In the two end positions, however, the immediate stop of the press or the dangerous movement is initiated. The acknowledgment function is therefore only active if the operator deliberately activates it.
The enabling switches comply with all relevant normative requirements (eg DIN EN 12622 and DIN EN 60947-5-8). The DGUV approval is also available. The contact system allows particularly soft switching operations and prevents the machine z. B. when unlocking the switch from the well-worn switching position out.
The wireless signal transmission offers the operator greater freedom of movement without tripping hazards: he can always bring the foot switch into the ergonomically optimal position. This is particularly advantageous for larger systems.
