Transmitting data wirelessly and wirelessly over a distance of up to 300 m at 100 Mbit/s: This is what the LS682 data light barrier from Pepperl + Fuchs unrivaled. This opens up completely new possibilities in the high-bay warehouse. With its large range, the device gives planners and operators undreamt-of freedom. At the same time, commissioning is simplified – an important aspect given the distances that are now possible.
Alignment of the data light barrier LS682
The LED row on the transmitter also indicates the reception level of the other party. This allows the data light barrier to be optimally aligned from one side in a very short time. Parameterization is not necessary. The predecessor model LS680 was the first data light barrier that achieved a transmission rate of 100 Mbit / s and has been awarded several international awards. The LS682 also works with the same fast transfer rate. Telegrams are not stored, so the transmission takes place without delay. The LS682 can transmit and receive such large amounts of data in real time over long distances. Your data transfer rate remains constant regardless of the distance.
Video data from cameras on the operator panel can also be used directly, for example for visually supported remote maintenance and diagnostics or for system documentation. Bidirectional communication works independently of any protocol and can be integrated into any application, such as Industrial Ethernet topologies such as Profinet, Ethernet / IP, Ethercat or Powerlink. The data light barrier LS682 thus offers the ideal data transmission technology for high-bay warehouses, carriages, lifting stations and gantry cranes.
