rauscher0317Basler is expanding its ACE industrial camera series (Rauscher distributor) with 20 new, high-resolution cameras. This increases the series to over 120 cameras, making it the largest camera series in the industrial image processing market. For better differentiation, the ACE series is classified into the three product lines Classic, U and L.

Twelve ACE industrial cameras are equipped with the Sony "Pregius" sensors IMX253, IMX255, IMX267 and IMX304 and form the product line L. With resolutions of 9 and 12 megapixels and deliver up to 40 images / s. These cameras offer brilliant Pregius image quality and a pixel size of 3,45 μm. State-of-the-art global shutter technology ensures distortion-free images, even at high speeds. With these characteristics, the new L cameras are suitable for applications in highly automated 3D inspection systems or in traffic monitoring, such as tolling.

Eight ACE cameras are equipped with the Sony "Starvis" sensors IMX178 and IMX226 and join the product line U. With the latest rolling shutter technology and resolutions of 6 and 12 megapixels with up to 59 images / s, the cameras can fully exploit their potential in microscopy applications and in less complex automation tasks in the electronics industry. The back-illuminated sensor technology ensures high sensitivity with a pixel size of 2,4 μm (IMX178) or 1,85 μm (IMX226). With these photosensitive sensors the U cameras offer a very good picture quality even in low light conditions.
